Training curriculum on Child Labour and Forced Labour research

Overview

The proposed training curriculum responds to the need for better data and research on child labor and forced labor, and for improved research capacity in order to achieve this.

It aims at: i) building the capacity of statistical offices and researchers to conduct research on child labour and forced labour , ii) mainstreaming the study of child labor and forced labor with a high-level of rigor, by increasing the level of awareness on child labor and forced labor among researchers at different levels, and the quality of the research reports published; and iii) building the capacity of statistical offices and researchers to design and communicate the research and its results to promote the use of the generated knowledge by policy makers and other stakeholders
