The intent of the present guidelines is to facilitate the process of testing the measurement of forced labour in different national circumstances and under different measurement objectives. The guidelines provide recommendations for the collection and analysis of forced labour statistics, and to facilitate the international comparability offorced labour statistics by minimizing definitional and methodological differences across countries.
